Commercial gas engineer

Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer- Portsmouth/Southampton

Reporting into the Contracts Manager, the Gas Engineer will be required to carry out assigned day to day delivery of planned, reactive and small works assigned on a wide range of different types of properties and systems.

Essential Qualifications:

Commercial gas minimum requirements

· COCNPI: Core

· COCNI: Appliances

· BMPI: Gas booster

· CIGAI: Indirect fired

· TPCPIA: Testing purge

· ICPN1: Pipework

· CDGAI: Direct fired

· COMCATI: Atmospheric burners

· CORT1: Overhead heaters

Domestic qualifications

· CCNI: Core

· HTR1: Heaters

· CENWAT: Boilers

· CPAI: Analyser

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

· Mechanical – City & Guilds Level 3 or Equivalent

· Building Maintenance Experience

· Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word

Essential skills:

· Maintenance biased with Multi-Skilled experience

· Good communications skills written and verbal

· Client facing

· Open to dealing with other forms of work such as installations

· Capable of working on own initiative and without supervision

· Able to adapt to quickly changing environments and client’s requirements

· Ability to work under pressure

· Excellent organisational skills / Time management /Ability to prioritise and organise own workload/ able to work to deadlines

· Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
