Spencer Clarke Group are currently working alongside a hugely successful and well known Accountancy Firm based in Sheffield & Doncaster. Our client is a massively growing 12 Partner firm who are now looking to hire amongst their Audit Management team due to organic growth.

Our client is looking for an Audit Manager, who has experience working within an Accountancy Firm within an Audit department. This is a fantastic role, with a very senior position within a firm who are incredibly supportive with your personal progression. Whether you are from a small, medium or large sized firm, my client is looking to hire a talented, Qualified Audit Manager who has the hunger to progress and thrive within a Management position.
The salary range for this role is depending on experience and experience within a Management position.

If you have no management experience salary is £44,000+ per annum plus £6000 car allowance. Salary is open to discussion and based on experience.

If you have current management experience salary is £60,000+ plus £7000 car allowance. Salary is open to discussion and based on experience.

For this role you will need to be Qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent).

What will this role entail?

Manage and lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to audit standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
Coordinate and supervise audit teams, providing guidance and support to team members throughout the audit process.
Review audit work, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business processes, identify risks, and provide value-added recommendations for improvement.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and resource on audit-related matters.
Stay abreast of changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments.
Contribute to the development and implementation of audit methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
Assist with business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking activities to support the growth of the audit practice.
What are we looking for from you?

Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with significant audit experience.
