Remedial Plumbers

Job Title: Remedial Plumber.
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £34k + Training + Benefits

We are working with a highly successful Water Hygiene / Legionella company who provide the full range of Water Hygiene / Legionella services. They are now looking to recruit a Remedial Plumber to work across the North West region. You will be carrying out the full range of Remedial plumbing duties working on Healthcare, Hospitality, Facilities Management and Educational sites.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Macclesfield, Warrington, Liverpool, St Helens, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing is essential.
" Will have a strong background working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, working hands on as a plumber.
" Will be able to communicate efficiently.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
" Holding the G3 Unvented ticket would be beneficial to the role.
The Role:
" Undertaking deadleg removals.
" Removing and rerouting copper and PVC pipework.
" Undertaking fault-finding on site and rectifying any issues in a timely manner.
" Undertaking CWST refurbishment and installations.
" Checking plumbing work that has been carried out and sign off upon completion.
" Installing, replacing, and servicing of TMVs.
" Carrying out expansion valve installation.
" Ensuring that onsite logbooks are filled out accurately.
" Carrying out cylinder installation (If G3 unvented certificate is held)
Ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines
