Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join their dynamic team in Exeter. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within the rural sector, contributing to every stage of the design process.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements and vision for each rural project.
Develop innovative and practical design solutions that integrate seamlessly with the rural landscape.
Prepare detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and ensure design feasibility.
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment and success.
Stay updated on relevant regulations, building codes, and best practices within the rural sector.
ARB registered with several years post qualification experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
Strong design sensibility with a passion for integrating architecture with the rural landscape.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of rural planning policies, building regulations, and construction methods.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
